Dr. B.R. Ambedkar had made a valuable contribution to the uplift of the downtrodden, stated former Dy. CM J&K Kavinder Gupta and former MLA & J&K BJP SC Morcha President Neelam Langeh.

Senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. BR Ambedkar, after washing the statue of Baba Saheb with milk and water.

Former MLA Prof. Gharu Ram, BJP Media Secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, BJP District President Rekha Mahajan, District Seh-Prabhari Vinay Mahajan, Morcha Seh-Prabhari Jeet Angral, Morcha General Secretaries Adarsh Jathiar, Gulshan Bhagat, besides other SC Morcha leaders participated in the programme.

"Dr Ambedkar, an erudite scholar and an outstanding legal luminary, had made an invaluable contribution to the framing of the Indian Constitution. His commitment towards nation building, particularly in the uplift of weaker sections of society is remarkable. BJP has truly embraced the path of equality and transparency envisioned by Baba Saheb", said Kavinder Gupta.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi is following the path shown by Dr. Ambedkar in realizing the goals enshrined in the Constitution, which mainly include the empowerment of the socially and economically weaker sections. Modi government has recognized the works of Baba Saheb in true sense", said Neelam Langeh.

Mohan Thapa, JMC Councillor Sharda Kumari, Rajkumar, Vijay Anand Gill, Narinder Bhagat, Yashpal Shivgotra, KK Digra, Jeet Raj Kalsi, LK Bhagat, Seema, Tara Chand, Manohar Lal Menia, Vivek Pattal, Subhash Chander and others were amongst the prominent present on the occasion.
